Mid-century modern has finally escaped the living room and gracefully landed in our newest collection, Maze Runner. It’s our classiest design yet, available in three righteous colorways across our fender, frame keeper and topcap lineup.

If you are a visual learner, checkout this lovely installation video

1. Clean your bike thoroughly and wipe frame with isopropyl alcohol. Wash your hands to ensure you don’t leave any dirty fingerprints under the glue. If it’s below 50 degrees Fahrenheit, roll your bike indoors for the following steps.

2. Grab a pair of scissors or an exacto knife. All pieces are designed for larger frames and will likely need to be trimmed before mounting. Before removing the backing, line each piece up to your frame and mark any pieces that need to be shortened or thinned. Trim from the bottom and make sure to round any hard edges (this will help it from pulling up over time).

3. Remove backing and center the guard where you want it. Make sure to do any repositioning before applying pressure. Once you’re happy with the position, lightly tack the center of the guard from top to bottom. Apply pressure from center to sides, pushing out any air/bubbles with your thumbs. We don’t recommend wet application with our material.

Pro Tips:
• Lightly blasting each piece with a hairdryer or heat gun before applying pressure warms the adhesive and makes for an easier application.
• If you have issues wrapping guard around curves, add additional relief cuts where needed.
• To avoid leaving finger prints on transparent Frame Keepers, wet your finger tips if you need to reposition the guard.
• Use a vinyl squeegee tool to help eliminate bubbles during the application process.
• Get clever with your scrap pieces! Throw them on the seat tube, top of the downtube, or wherever you may experience cable rub.

Removal:

ALWAYS use heat when removing Frame Keeper to ensure clean removal. We also recommend using heat when repositioning the Frame Keeper during application.

Material quality and aesthetic are excellent. Required significantly more work to remove air bubbles than other protective films I've used in the past, but not a big deal.

Not sure what happened here.... I believed I was diligent in cleaning it, and Installing it with a heat gun. And it stuck for 3-4 days. But then found it all pealing off. It did get really cold in the garage as we experienced a cold snap...

I like how good it looks on the bike. I chose this over the clear varieties because of the color, pattern and thicker for more protection. I would recommend ground keeper to make available these available- but without the cuts in the sheets so that the full width can be used to advantage on the wider E bike tubes.

Super sick to add to my frame! Looks awesome and stoked on the color.

Way easy to align and apply. Love the pattern over the matte surface, seems to change the color of the top tube. I wish there were a top tube only version, since my bike came with some protective film already applied, but I guess I can use the down tube film for another job. Really happy with the way it looks.

Living in the Rockies is hard on frames. Lots of loose rocks and rock gardens. My frame takes a beating for sure and you need some sort of frame protection. I’m not a rich person so my frames need to last for years. This went on easy and it’s quite thick. I used a hair dryer and some patience. I Herat it up a little before I peel it, center it, then just heat a little at a time while molding it on. I’m 10 rides in and it’s doing its job 100%

Easy application. Transparent with overlaid pattern, so OEM frame paint shows through, which is nice!! Was almost able to put it all on without any heat or stretching, used a heat gun for a couple tricky corners and to tuck a couple seams. Came out great.

Customer video review of Maze Runner Frame Keeper

I looked at all the pictures and videos on the reviews to get some guidance and ideas. What I learned is, do what makes you happy. There is no right or wrong way..add the protection where you think you need it. I got a bit creative, because I didn’t want to hide the lettering on my top tube. I use the hairdryer to soften it up before pressing it down in place. It was easier than I thought to apply, I watched YouTube. .

I had a fun evening applying the wrap! Roughly two - 2.5 hours in total but really taking my time. Had to do some custom cuts but even where I made ‘mistakes’ the look is still very clean and forgiving.

It looks great on my stainless steel Otso! I wanted something to give it a little color, not too much, just the right amount! Very glad I chose Maze Runner.

Using the YouTube video, it was not hard to install, but does take time and patience to make sure it comes out nice. It was easy for me to trim it to go around the existing frame protectors on my ibis ripley medium frame. It looks great and I would purchase this again

Customer photo review of Maze Runner Frame Keeper

This is the Maze Runner in Fire, matte finish. I've never installed anything like this before but the process was super easy, using a heat gun (look for a free tool rental library near you! Oakland CA has one; Chicago has one, etc). Yes, this is a road bike (Cannondale Synapse 2LE), not a mountain bike, but the flat gray for everything coming from major road bike brands drove me to this just for a little customization and visual appeal. In the close-photo up you can see some bubbles on the top tube. I got careless and was standing on the other side of the bike, doing the far part of the tube by feel only. Take it from this dunce: Don't feel you way through it. Just keep an eye on the work as you do it and you'll be fine.

Use a hair dryer or heat gun to get it flexy enough to get around some of the curves of your frame, and it looks incredible.

I love this stuff! This is my first experience using a 'frame wrap'. I just got a new gravel bike that I love but its just a silver color. This wrap looks great against the silver frame and jazzes it up nicely! I am not done applying it yet...it is easy to put on, just takes a little patience and a steady hand. I will definitely buy this again.

Smaller pieces are much easier to apply, so I'd definitely recommend starting with those, but I'm super happy with how it looks. Seems to almost harden after it's applied, so it feels super sturdy.

Love the color on my bike. Install was super easy, only request would be that there were a couple little clear squares included to strategically cover places where brake cables etc rub on the frame

I have the frame keepers on every single bike I own. It adds a unique touch and gives me the piece of mind knowing my bike is protected from debris!

Very easy to apply with the help of a heat gun. I have a size medium Stumpjumper which needed very little trimming to fit its alloy frame. The bike is a very plain matte black and the pattern gives it a muted color scheme. I could have gone with a more colorful pattern no problem!

Customer photo review of Maze Runner Frame Keeper

After using a frame guard on my old bike for almost two years and having it save me from plenty of scratches ans scuffs, it was a no brainer to get one for my brand new Status. I will admit the clear background is trickier to lay without seeing the bubbles and wrinkles so patience is key! It’s the perfect subtle look I wanted.

The installation took some effort as I wanted to make sure I used every bit of the protection kit as possible but it was without a doubt worth it. I love the unique look it gives to my bike as well as the piece of mind knowing that the most exposed areas are protected.
