THE REALITY OF COLOR MATCHING

Let’s be clear: matching printed ink to painted frame colors is hard. We can get very close, but a perfect match is rare. Colors vary across screens, printers, and even bikes—frames painted a few months apart at the same factory can even differ slightly. We’ve dialed in some industry colors in our customizer for the closest possible match, but the sample we matched may still vary from your specific frame or fork.

Getting the right HEX Code

If you are unable to get the color code from the manufacturer, here's how we recommend matching colors:

In natural, well-lit conditions, take a photo of the item you're trying to match. Open it in your phone’s editor and use the eyedropper tool to sample the color. Grab a few variations—highlight, midtone, and shadow—and note the HEX codes.

TEST IT!

If the color match is critical or you are extra picky, we recommend first ordering our Color Test Swatches below. Plugin up to six colors or variations and and we'll send you swatch samples you can stick over your frame/fork/component.
