BEHIND THE DESIGN
"From tossing natural 20’s to getting tossed off your steed on a particularly wily berm, this one is for all the basement nerds out there who also love to get dirty on the trails. My work is deeply inspired by the rich history of Fantasy/Sci Fi and its presence in many types of media. Dungeons and Dragons, Comics, rock and roll and heavy metal, video games, old B sci fi/fantasy flicks, dusty old books, pick your weapon. However, I am equally inspired by the outdoors, the incredible communities that form around it, and the thrill of a good adventure. When I started this project, I wanted to find a way to strike a balance between those fantasy influences and that grit and attitude that I have grown to love and appreciate within the biking community. My goal was to make something that tells a story, something that I couldn’t find anywhere else, and something that I knew I wanted to slap on my own bike. So go forth and ride on! I hope these designs get you possessed by a lich king and help you send it!" - Maxwell Green, Artist.
