Ground Keeper is a bicycle accessory manufacturer and print house looking for a production assistant to join our team part-time. We are looking for a reliable self-starter to keep our machines running outside of business hours at our Bellingham headquarters. Schedule is flexible, but candidate must be able to work outside of regular business hours (8-5 M-F) on weekday evenings or weekends. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Start, maintain, and finish jobs on the printing and cutting machines. 
• Assist in identifying and troubleshooting minor equipment malfunctions or issues, ensuring minimal production downtime.
• Post-production tasks to prepare products for sale (hangtagging, trimming, etc)
• Packaging and shipping orders
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment

Qualifications:

• We are looking for someone with a strong technical mindset, able to quickly learn and master the processes involved in operating machines.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and adapting to changing production needs.
• Keen attention to detail, with a good eye for quality control
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain an organized workspace to support smooth production operations.
• Strong ability to handle repetitive production tasks
• Must be able to work 15-25 hours per week, spread over 3-5 shifts. Shifts could be evenings or weekends.
• Must be able to work independently on their own.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds comfortably
